First Day of School

The end of summer always comes around too fast! Sarah is off to fourth grade with Ms. Hansen and Jake to second with Ms. Weibel. Lauren is about to start a fun new year as head cheerleader at Wasatch Jr. High.

Last Summer Fling

We headed off to Bear Lake with some friends from our ward for one last summer ski. Sarah and Chloe Ferguson buried Jake in the sand.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

The primary had an activity on Saturday where each family made their dad a tie. All the dad's wore their ties to church on Father's Day. Paul could have won an award for the most decorated (and heavy) tie! Way to go kids!

Wasatch Officer Winner...W.O.W.!

You could have knocked me over with a feather when Lauren told me she wanted to try out for cheerleader. This is the girl who wouldn't take gymanastics or dance no matter how hard I tried. But who needed it...she made head cheerleader and saved me a bundle!

Treasure Hunt Surprise

I sent the kids on a treasure hunt; at the end they found empty suitcases waiting to be packed for a trip to DISNEYLAND!

Grandma and Grandpa Shields' 50th!

Paul's parents are serving a mission in the Leeds, England mission in South Shields, England. We had a private toast to celebrate. Happy Anniversary Marlin and Claudia!
